Charlie Weaver, an icon in the hunter show ring, died Monday, June 7, due to complications from a riding accident he suffered on Feb. 12 in Wellington, Fla. Weaver sustained a neck fracture during the accident.
Weaver was a fixture in the hunter rings for more than 30 years and rode a number of well-known show hunters, including Ruxton, Stocking Stuffer, and Super Flash. He was inducted into the National Show Hunter Hall of Fame and also served on their Board of Directors.
