Buckingham Palace announced today via Twitter that 2006 eventing world champion Zara Phillips has become engaged to rugby player Mike Tindall.
Phillips is the daughter of Capt. Mark Phillips and his first wife Princess Anne, who is the daughter of Queen Elizabeth II. Princess Anne competed in the 1976 Montreal Olympic Games in eventing.
