Dinwiddie Lampton Jr., passionate equestrian, jockey and four-in-hand driver, died Sept. 25 at his home in Lexington, Ky. He was 94.
Mr. Lampton was the longtime president of American Life & Accident Insurance Co., the company that his father started. He graduated from Culver Military Academy (Ind.) and attended St. John’s College (Md.) until his father called him home to work at the insurance company.
