Three coolers believed to contain horsemeat were found Wednesday in Miami-Dade County, Fla., according to MiamiHerald.com. The U.S. Department of Agriculture will conduct an investigation to confirm the source of the meat.
Officers discovered the coolers inside a blood-spattered van located in the C-9 Basin area of Miami, a part of the city known for its black market horsemeat sales. Horsemeat can sell for as much as $20 per pound.
