Like many people my age, I was blessed to know a New York City that had a National Horse Show at Madison Square Garden. I was even more blessed to have competed there. There was truly nothing like it. In fact, it was surreal.

The "NYC vs. The World" pro-am speed class will be an exciting event pitting teams of riders against each other. One team rider will go as fast as they can over a faults-converted speed course to set a time that the rider from the other team will try to beat. The team with the most points will win the inaugural "NYC vs. The World" speed title at the Central Park Horse Show.

It's not often that you get to see LIVE show jumping on a major sports network, but on Sept. 18 at 7:00 p.m. EST, the $210,000 Central Park Grand Prix will be broadcast live! Make sure to tune in and support horse sports by boosting the ratings and telling the television industry that we want to see more horse sports!
Find out what riders will be facing off in the exciting $50,000 "NYC Vs. The World" Speed Challenge on Friday night, Sept. 19.
