As a high school sophomore, I shook off thoughts of college, preferring to think of it as in the far and distant future. Why? Because I feared leaving behind what I have and having to look forward toward a place that represents the great unknown.

Kels Bonham of the Savannah College of Art and Design tackled the work-off course today with the same confidence she’s shown throughout the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association National Championships and won the Cacchione Cup.
When Bonham, 21, drew Sampson, donated by Virginia Intermont for the competition, for the ride-off, she was thrilled.
May 4—Raleigh, N.C.
During the second day at the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association National Championships, St. Lawrence University pulled away from the pack for the Collegiate Cup.
The team ended the day with 29 points with the help of walk/trot rider Timothy Moore. He won his class, adding 7 points to the team’s total.
