British show jumper Ben Maher and his longtime owners Mike and Emma Phillips have reached an agreement settling legal disputes between them.

The new executive director of the U.S. Hunter Jumper Association, Janet Greenlee, doesn’t have a name familiar to most USHJA members. Greenlee, 59, has spent her career in communications and business management largely outside the equestrian world. She’ll start her tenure at the Association on Jan. 2, but is attending the USHJA Annual Meeting in Atlanta, Ga., held Dec. 8-12.

London Olympic show jumping team gold medalist Ben Maher has hit back at claims from long-term backers Mike and Emma Phillips that he made £700,000 in “secret profits” from sales of their horses during their eight-year professional relationship.

The BBC has released a story indicating that show jumper Ben Maher, who helped the British team earn gold at the 2012 London Olympic Games, is being sued by long-time owners Mike and Emma Phillips for misrepresenting the prices of horses he sold for them.
