North Salem, N.Y.  - April 17, 2016 - After successfully competing during the Winter Equestrian Festival and earning a top 20 finish against the best in the world during the 2016 Longines FEI Show Jumping World Cup Final with Peter Lutz, Robin de Ponthual earned a well deserved break before the spring show season.

After taking time to relax at Lutz's base in New York, the 10-year-old Selle Francais gelding (Elf d'Or-IO de la Grange) owned by Katherine Gallagher and Michael Meller returned to the show ring in top form during the Old Salem Spring Horse Shows.

Through their Special Horse Organization Winner’s (SHOW) Program, farm supply retailer Southern States Cooperative is offering money to non-profit horse-related organizations and clubs for each proof of purchase seal from their popular Southern States, Legends and Triple Crown horse feed bags.

Over 400 groups are currently enrolled in the program, with the top five organizations earning over $2,000 in cash last year. Kentucky Thoroughbred Farm Managers Club out of Lexington topped the list, earning over $5,500 through the program.

Lincoln, NE – Four young riders have been selected for the 2016 International Dream Program that annually sends US young riders to Europe for an intensive dressage experience. The program is administered and funded annually by The Dressage Foundation (TDF).
