He's known for his gritty game face and his game efforts over the jumps, and on Feb. 13, Rothchild was at his best in the $380,000 Fidelity Investments Grand Prix 5* CSI. Even a chaotic warm-up couldn't keep the little chestnut from blazing to the top.
Eric Lamaze is on fire at the Winter Equestrian Festival, and he added the $216,000 Ariat Grand Prix to his record with this performance on Feb. 7.
For the second week in a row, Todd Minikus headlined the night in the feature grand prix, as he guided Babalou 41 to the top of the $130,000 Adequan Grand Prix during Week 3 of the Winter Equestrian Festival. Minikus and Babalou 41 outraced Laura Kraut and Nouvelle for the win on Jan. 30.
Todd Minikus gave a lesson on going fast in the jump-off of the $86,000 Marshall & Sterling Grand Prix on Jan. 23 during Week 2 of WEF.

Look familiar? For the third week in a row, Schuyler Riley was fastest in the jump-off, winning the $127,000 Grand Prix CSI3* in the fourth and final installment of "Saturday Night Lights" show jumping at the Tryon International Equestrian Center. This time, it was aboard Q-7, and she bested second-placed Sharn Wordley and Casper by more than a second.
