Will Coleman’s mount Cool Connection is still recuperating at the New Jersey Equine Clinic after his accident at the Jersey Fresh CIC***, but the horse is expected to make a full recovery.

Mystery Whisper might need a new name before the Olympic Games. After winning his past three FEI events, the horse is much more of a known quantity than a mystery, and his greatness isn’t the kind of thing you want to keep quiet.

Three less horses will show jump today in the Jersey Fresh CCI.
In the second horse inspection for the CCI**, Boyd Martin’s Merging, Holly Payne’s Santino, Courtney Sendak’s Wil’Ya Love Me and Kate Samuels’ Nyls Du Terroir were all held. Both Nyls Du Terroir and Merging were eliminated upon re-inspection, and Sendak chose to withdraw Wil’Ya Love Me from the holding area.
No horses were held in the CCI***, CIC*** or CIC**.

The results from today’s cross-country in the Jersey Fresh CCI*** shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone who’s been following Phillip Dutton and Mystery Whisper’s short career this spring. The pair held onto their lead in the three-star when they jumped clean over John Williams’ course.
Alltentown, N.J., May 11
For the third time this season, Phillip Dutton and Mystery Whisper completed a dressage test that catapulted them to the top of the leaderboard.
After dressage day for the Jersey Fresh Three-Day Event CCI***, Dutton stands on a score of 32.6, well ahead of second-placed Karen O’Connor on Veronica (39.6). Michael Pollard rode into third aboard Jude's Law with a score of 43.6. Dutton's test highlighted the horse's elasticity and super movement, earning a score of 79.60 percent from the judge at E, Ulrich Schmitz.
