Three Olympic riders advanced to the jump-off in the third leg of the Longines FEI World Cup™ Jumping North American League Western Sub-League. Last to go in the jump-off order, Enrique Gonzalez of Mexico rode the most efficient track to claim victory aboard 9-year-old mare Chacna.

In the first indoor competition of the 2016/17 Longines FEI World Cup™ Jumping North American League season, an international and bicoastal field of 28 contested under the lights at the Sacramento International Horse Show CSI3*-W.

Out of a jump-off of eight horse-and-rider pairs, U.S. rider Audrey Coulter and Capital Colnardo rose to the occasion to claim victory in the $100,000 Longines FEI World Cup™ Jumping Sacramento.

Karl Cook got the qualifying season for next spring’s Longines FEI World Cup Final (Neb.) off to a good start when he guided Tembla to a thrilling win in the $135,600 Longines FEI World Cup™ Qualifier, presented by Noel Asmar, at the Langley CSI3*-W. Thunderbird Show Park hosted the first leg of the Longines FEI World Cup™ Jumping North American League West Coast sub-league.

“With Special Lux, if you make a jump-off, going slow is not an option,” said Jonathan McCrea.

So, when he joined six other riders for the jump-off of the $100,000 Longines FEI World Cup™ Jumping Bromont CSI3*-W, McCrea went with Special Lux’s top gear and they ended up winning.
